Idol Confessions: I watched the opening number and I actually thought it was awesome. No lip syncing and bad dance moves, just the best top 5 that Idol has ever had doing their thing. America got it right, as hard as it was to cut Matty loose, the top 4 remain. The sight of Adam in the bottom two was shocking to some, but his performance was WAY over the top on standards week. He is like Elvis meets Freddie Mercury with a touch of Liza Minelli and Axl Rose sometimes. Don't get me wrong, that guy is the most talented of the bunch, but sometimes people are turned off by overly flamboyant performances.Thursday, April 30, 2009
