It has been 20 years now that Pete Rose has been banned from baseball and according to the New York Daily News, Bud Selig is considering his reinstatement after things that were said by Hank Aaron at the Hall of Fame festivities this past weekend. It is time for Pete to return! Not as a Manager as he has expressed interest many times, but as an ambassador of the sport that he helped to make America's favorite passtime. Pete is the all time hits leader and as a player, exemplfied the true spirit of the game. "Charlie Hustle" was one of his nicknames and I can find no better picture than the one above to capture it.
