Weeks will undergo season-ending surgery this week to repair a torn sheath that surrounds a tendon in his left wrist, an injury suffered on a first-inning strikeout on Sunday in St. Louis. The decision was made on Monday after Weeks visited with Phoenix-based specialist Dr. Don Sheridan, who has performed two previous surgeries on the former first-round Draft pick.
