Ellen DeGeneres is dancing her way onto "American Idol," replacing Paula Abdul as the show's fourth judge. In a Wednesday release from Fox and the show's producers, DeGeneres described herself as a longtime fan of the hit television singing contest. I like Ellen, don't get me wrong, but what does she have to do with singing? She is a comedian and a great talk show host, but how can she justify judging talent any more than one of us? Ah that's the Simon Cowell angle. She is our Judge and a far bigger celeb than Paula Abdul ever could be. The white Oprah.
