Iowa Football Coach's Alleged Killer Led Cops on Chase Days Before

The man who allegedly gunned down a popular Iowa football coach, was to have gone to a hospital psychiatric ward after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase Saturday - several days before the shooting. Investigators say former player Mark Becker, 24, walked past about 20 students in the high school's weight room before shooting Ed Thomas several times Wednesday and walking back out.
Becker was arrested a short time later in the driveway of his parents' home and charged with first-degree murder. Bond was set at $1 million, and Becker's next scheduled court appearance is July 2. Police say they are still investigating a motive. Click on the pic for the full story.
