The Minnesota Vikings reportedly have told Brett Favre(notes) to decide this week if he wants to play this year.
Coach Brad Childress imposed the deadline on the star quarterback, according to ESPN. The network cited two unidentified sources Monday on its Web site. The Sirius NFL Radio network, however, reported later Monday without citing a source that a deadline is not in place. In other words the media needed to have something to say about Favre, so they decided to take it both ways. Can't we just get used to waiting for Favre and just cover it when a decision is made. Vikings fans are sick of hearing about it and it's just salt in the wound of Packer/Favre fans. So let' s look at the new Madden 10 instead.
