Loggers Hit Their Way Back into First Place

The La Crosse Loggers scored early and late to dominate the Eau Claire Express 11-2 in a much needed win for the Loggers. The Express were playing for home field advantage, but the Loggers have a little more at stake as they are trying to play their way into the playoffs. They made a pretty good statement Thursday night. After losing 3 straight the Loggers are back on top and have a 2 game winning streak. They play tonight and tomorrow at home against Waterloo and then on Sunday and Monday they host Mankato to close out the regular season. Madison trails La Crosse by a half a game and have 4 home games to finish the season. What a race!
