Mueller Energizes Loggers in Game One Victory

Tony Mueller had done just about everything from selling peanuts to playing for the Loggers up to Tuesday night. Now, he’s done one more thing -- record the first playoff win in franchise history.
The Logan High School product, who started following the Loggers when he was 12 and his brother played, held the Eau Claire Express to two runs on six hits in seven innings in a 5-2 win in the first game of the NWL South Division playoff.
The two teams meet again in Eau Claire. If a third game is needed, it will be at the Lumberyard on Thursday night. What a great time at the Lumberyard last night. Great pitching, 3 bombs and a Loggers win!
